His grandfather started the House of LaRose, a beverage bottling and distribution company in Akron, Ohio, where Frank worked growing up. He has four siblings and worked on the family farm during his childhood.

LaRose graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Consumer Affairs and Business. A life-long Northeast Ohioan, he now lives in Central Ohio with his wife, Lauren, and their three daughters.
