Jul 13, 2013 · I typically run my surface pro in a lower resolution. Today, I woke it from sleep and the screen size has shrunk, leaving large black bars around all sides of the screen. This makes lower resolutions unusable. I have tried rebooting. Any other setting besides full res causes these bars. Please help! I have also tried reverting the graphics driver.

Oct 2, 2020 · This is a 5120 X1440 49 inch monitor. I'm connecting the surface to the monitor via a microsoft mini displayport to hdmi adapter and a hdmi cable. After connecting the monitor the recommended resolution is 3840 X 1080 and the max resolution I can set is 3840 X 2160. I don't have the option to set it to 5120 X 1440.
