In a chevron pattern you have parallel lines and 45degrees lines -- angle on cuts 45 or 135 -- The very minor deviation from 45 degree gets you in trouble. Unless parallel lines are not required any other patern could be done --- custom design ---.

Jun 27, 2020 · I’m planning the layout of this patterned 8X8 porcelain in my bathroom. I want to maintain the pattern, but length wise, if I start with a full tile at the door, I get a 2 inch sliver at the end. I’m not sure it will be seen much once the baseboard goes down (put a quarter inch tile there just for reference).

Mar 2, 2008 · I have a homeowner who wants to retile her master bath with a chiseled edge stone dimension tile that she loves. Sizes are 8x8, 8x16, 16x16, 16x24 actual (non-modular). She wants an ashlar pattern, using all these. For the life of me I cannot come up with a pattern mixing these sizes, without cutting them and rechiseling a lot of edge.
