Steam library images location (hero, covers, logos etc)
Is there a save location for each game's default hero graphics (background images), logo PNGs and cover images that show up in the new Steam library? Are they even stored anywhere locally on our computers?

Jun 5, 2018 · You can easily find the files for a specific game if you search that folder for the game's unique ID number, for example Monaco is 113020. To find out the number for a game, it's in the URL for the game's store page.

Jan 25, 2023 · In desktop mode, select Library > Home > set the filter to Recent Games. Right-click on the game (should be the first grey space, horizontal) and select Select Custom Artwork. Pick the horizontal/landscape image artwork. This will now be used any time the game is the most recently played game in BPM and desktop mode.
