Venus Williams is participating in the main draw at the Mubadala Citi DC Open after a one-year hiatus from professional competition.

Venus Williams has accepted a wild-card invitation to play singles at the 2025 Mubadala Citi DC Open, which will start on July 19. The tournament will be the 45-year-old's first in over a year. Williams' last official match was the Miami Open back in March 2024.
