Buxton will look to become the second Twins player to win the Home Run Derby, and he'll do it in his home state.

Brian Dozier represented Minnesota during the 2014 Home Run Derby that was held at Target Field. He competed against former teammate Justin Morneau who was a member of the Colorado Rockies at the time. Dozier hit just two longballs in the event.

His second All-Star Game selection will go down as one of his greatest satisfactions in the sport, considering the path he's taken to get here and the fact that the festivities next week will be in his native Georgia.
