For a double holiday Monday, the Tampa Bay Lightning visited TD Garden in Boston against the Bruins, where they picked up their first win of the season, 4-3.

The Bruins picked up their first loss of the season against the Lightning, but they very nearly pulled off the comeback to force overtime.

Boston’s Casey Mittelstadt answered with a goal 30 seconds later to make it 3-1, but Holmberg’s first goal with the Lightning restored the three-goal advantage. Holmberg corralled a loose puck at the right post for his first of the year after Oliver Bjorkstrand’s initial shot.
