The National Football League made a surprise announcement on Tuesday. They removed New England Patriots captain Jabrill Peppers from the Commissioner’s Exempt List. The move enables the safety to play in New England’s next game.

Just a day after being removed from the commissioner’s exempt list, Jabrill Peppers took part in practice with the Patriots.

On Monday, the league announced that Peppers was removed from the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt List, which he was placed on after being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation or suffocation, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine), and assault and battery on a family or household member.
