San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy showed up to voluntary workouts on Tuesday, sparking a new round of speculation about his contract negotiations.

“49ers QB Brock Purdy, who has been discussing a new deal with San Francisco, is in attendance today for the start of the team’s off-season workout program. Some thought Purdy might have stayed away without a new deal, but that’s not the route Purdy chose,” Schefter wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday morning.

Brock Purdy reported to the start of the offseason program for the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, while star tight end George Kittle stayed away from the start of the voluntary program.
