Julen Lopetegui has overlooked Liverpool and instead named Arsenal as the best team in the Premier League currently. The West Ham manager - buoyed by their 2-0 win at Newcastle on Monday - is preparing his side to host the Gunners at the London Stadium on Saturday.

West Ham will also be without their manager on the touchline for the London derby. Lopetegui was booked after 20 minutes at St James’ Park on Monday when protesting a decision. As such, it took the Spaniard’s tally up to three yellow cards this season, meaning he will serve a one-match touchline ban against Arsenal.

Arsenal takes on West Ham Saturday evening. Ahead of that game, Julen Lopetegui reminded those who think Manchester City or the resurgent Liverpool are the best that Arsenal is the league’s, if not the world’s, best team.
