This week on WFAA's Friday Night Football, two of the elite private school programs in Texas high school football – Parish Episcopal and Prestonwood Christian – squared off for the second time in a month. And it continued Friday night with the rest of Central Texas playing their area-round games. Westlake and Lake Travis moved on, but Georgetown, Liberty Hill and Bastrop didn't. It was a tough week for Austin-area Class 5A teams.

Westlake topped SA Brennan 24-7 at Burger Stadium in Austin, but many of the Central Texas teams that played Friday ended up on the wrong end of a postseason game and now their seasons are over.
