Another excessively hot day across the region; featuring our third FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY in a row – but may be the final in this current stretch of deep heat. Expect a continued mix of clouds and sun with highs in the middle to upper 90s with ‘feels like’ temps running between 105-110º again.

Areas of patchy fog will be around during the morning commute. All of the fog will clear out after 8 a.m. this morning. The day will be filled with a mix of sun and clouds. A stray shower or thunderstorm will be possible during the afternoon, but most of us will remain quiet.

Although we’ve canceled today’s First Alert Weather Day, dangerous heat is expected to return to the Midlands for the end of the week.
