According to the latest data from outage monitor Down Detector, there are thousands of reports that Vodafone's broadband and network aren't working right now. In fact, at its peak, there were some 130,000 complaints, making this a major outage. Along with Down Detector, there are plenty of reports flooding sites such as X (formerly Twitter ).

Vodafone has explained the outage that left its home and mobile customers without internet for much of Monday.The problems were the result of “a non-malicious software issue” rather than a cyber attack,

According to Down Detector, a website where people can report online service issues, there have been more than 130,000 reported problems with Vodafone's services after 3pm UK time, with more than half of these referring to broadband services.

The outages began on Monday afternoon, according to the monitoring website DownDetector, which had more than 130,000 reports of problems with Vodafone connections.

Vodafone broadband is down for thousands across the UK. Some parts of its website also appear offline. Over 135,000 disgruntled customers have lodged complaints about a nationwide outage with the popular broadband supplier,
