KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The North Carolina Department of Transportation said a mudslide shut down I-40 just outside of Asheville Friday afternoon. On the North Carolina side of I-40, NCDOT said both eastbound and westbound of I-40 is shut down at mile marker 15.
