Air India Express (AIX) announced on Wednesday that it will launch direct flights between Pune and Bangkok starting December 20. AIX will offer three weekly flights between Pune and the Thai capital, with fares starting at Rs 6,500 for Xpress Lite and Rs 7,000 for Xpress Value.

The new routes to Bangkok, Dimapur, and Patna come as part of Air India Express' ongoing expansion following the merger of AIX Connect into the carrier.
