Kamala Harris has won the Rhode Island contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s four Electoral College votes. In 2020, Biden won Rhode Island with 59% of the vote to Trump’s 39%.

Besides the presidential election, Rhode Islanders also cast ballots for more than 40 races in the general assembly.

Warner was joined by state leaders, students, alumni, his family and more at a ceremony in Roberts Hall Auditorium.

In addition to voting in the presidential contest between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, voters in Rhode Island will cast ballots for the state’s two congressional districts.
