All ballots in the 2024 presidential race in Pennsylvania have now been cast and the counting is underway. At stake are 19 electoral votes in what is sure to be a close contest between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. CBS News is tracking the vote in each county. PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The race for Pennsylvania's open U.S. Senate seat between Democratic incumbent Sen. Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick is among the nation's most highly contested and expensive races. It could also help determine which party controls the narrowly divided Senate.

Republicans have accused Pennsylvania Democrats of attempting to "steal" the Senate election after officials in blue counties admitted to defying court precedent and election law.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Pennsylvania's 8th Congressional District covers Lackawanna, Pike, and Wayne counties and parts of Monroe and Luzerne counties. Democratic Congressman Matt Cartwright is currently serving his sixth term. His Republican challenger is business owner Rob Bresnahan.

Republicans went to court in Pennsylvania on Thursday amid vote counting in the U.S. Senate election between Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican David McCormick, as the campaigns prepare for a recount and press counties for favorable ballot-counting decisions.

The secretary of state said the Pa. Senate race has gone into automatic recount. GOP candidate David McCormick has sued to stop officials from counting some mail-in ballots.
