The Buffalo Sabres signed defenseman Conor Timmins to a two-year contract, which carries a $2.2 million cap hit.

The Sabres are going to need several players to breakout this season to make the playoffs, especially the likes of Owen Power, Jiri Kulich, and Zach Benson.
