Northern lights could be visible from New York City, other US locations over Thanksgiving weekend

Best time to see northern lights in New Jersey tonight
The current G2 storm level suggests the aurora could extend farther south than usual, potentially making it visible in states from New York to parts of the Midwest, and possibly even the Mid-Atlantic. The best time to look for the northern lights tonight will be very late in the evening, between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m, when skies are darkest.
