Mikael Granlund’s hat trick carries Dallas Stars to 3-1 win against Winnipeg Jets in Game 4: takeaways
Granlund scored once in each period for the first playoff hat trick of his career as the Stars defeated the Jets 3-1 at American Airlines Center on Tuesday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference Second Round, giving Dallas a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.
In the Stars’ victory, it’s not complicated: Mikael Granlund was the hero. The Finn scored all three of his team’s goals, which (obviously) made the difference. The Jets could do nothing.
