Kentucky has since reloaded at the guard position through the transfer portal. The two most recent additions are Denzel Aberdeen from Florida and Jaland Lowe from Pittsburgh, who averaged 16.8 points per game last season. They join Kam Williams, a guard from Tulane, as part of the new backcourt rotation.

The Kentucky Wildcats will try to snap an 11-year Final Four drought under second-year head coach Mark Pope next season. He led Kentucky to a 24-12 record and a Sweet 16 appearance in his first year at the helm following John Calipari's departure.
