GRAY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Appalachian Fair kicked off its 98th year in Gray on Monday with lots of livestock shows, the annual Fairest of the Fair pageant and a musical performance by Jackson Dean.

The fair is open until Saturday. Children under 11 get into the fair for free. The Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tennessee, is celebrating 95 years after having to cancel in 2020 due to COVID-19.
