WASHINGTON (7News) — Ben’s Chili Bowl on U Street in the district is shutting down at midnight on Tuesday but will reopen in the fall after it undergoes major renovations.

The iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl U Street will temporarily close its doors at midnight on Monday, July 14, for repairs and upgrades.
