The Colorsoft has a 7-inch display whereas the Clara Colour has a 6-inch screen. Since the former is larger, it can fit more text on the page (depending on your font size). Reading comics on the Colorsoft is also easier thanks to the display’s size.

Unfortunately for some, the Kindle Colorsoft has not been the perfect device, with users reporting that the display has a slight yellow tint towards the bottom of the display. As you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal, and Amazon has already put a stop to shipments to explore the issue.

As its name suggests, the $199.99 Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is an upgraded version of the $159.99 Paperwhite, both of which have been refreshed for 2024. Like the latest Paperwhite, it offers a slightly larger screen and faster performance than the 2021 model.

Amazon says it’s working to fix issues with the Kindle Colorsoft, its first color e-reader, following complaints from early buyers that a yellow band of discoloration appears on the bottom of the display.
