Unfortunately for some, the Kindle Colorsoft has not been the perfect device, with users reporting that the display has a slight yellow tint towards the bottom of the display. As you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal, and Amazon has already put a stop to shipments to explore the issue.

The folks over at Good e-Reader are reporting that Amazon is "canceling" shipments of the Colorsoft, at least until after November 26. According to their report, the delay could be through November 18 in the United States and November 26 in the UK.

The Good e-Reader reports "severe issues" with the Kindle Colorsoft's display, one of which is a yellowish bar showing up at the screen's bottom. Many early Kindle Colorsoft buyers are also complaining about the display's hazy and grainy appearance, which is purportedly causing them headaches and eyestrain while reading content.

As its name suggests, the $199.99 Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is an upgraded version of the $159.99 Paperwhite, both of which have been refreshed for 2024. Like the latest Paperwhite, it offers a slightly larger screen and faster performance than the 2021 model.
