Georgia Power said it provided advance notice by delivering letters in person and placing signs around the mall for management and tenants that it would be disconnecting the power

The sign on the door says, “Due to unforeseen circumstances the mall is closed at this time. No entry until further notice.”

Macy’s, Belk and JCPenney’s are three of the mall’s big anchor stores that remain open, but the doors connecting them to the rest of the mall are closed. Those stores can remain open because they pay a separate utility bill.
