The slate, which includes both major studio projects and independent films, is expected to generate more than $302 million in wages for California workers, the commission said.

The films are expected to hire 6,515 cast and crew members, as well as 32,000 background performers (measured in days worked), across 1,346 total film days.

The award is the largest out of the projects that were included in the latest round of funding from California's film and TV tax credit program
