A federal appeals court appeared ready on Friday to become the second such court in the country to rule that President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship is unlawful.

U.S. President Donald Trump's order restricting birthright citizenship appeared on Friday to be headed toward being declared unconstitutional by a second federal appeals court, as judges expressed deep skepticism about a key piece of his hardline immigration agenda.

The Trump administration asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to review a trade court's decision invalidating President Trump's 10% tariffs.

Speaking at a judicial conference, the justice said that saying too much risked premature judgments, adding that the court had been trying various approaches.
