The causes of death for three Revere women who died while vacationing in Belize was “acute pulmonary edema,” or build up of fluid in the lungs, and their bodies are scheduled to return to the United States on Thursday,

Friends say a birthday celebration trip turned into a horrible tragedy when the three lifelong friends were found dead inside their hotel resort room in Belize.

The three women, all lifelong friends with ties to Revere, were vacationing in the small Central American country, celebrating a birthday.
