India debutant Harshit Rana credited Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli's guidance for his impactful 3/48 spell in the Perth Test, helping India stage a stunning comeback after a shaky start in the Border Gavaskar Trophy opener.

It’s a common term in cricket — fast bowlers hunt in pairs. And when the leader of the pack, in this case Jasprit Bumrah runs through the top order to set the tone, it often eases off the pressure from the younger lot.

Rana, however, just laughed at it and went on about his business. Later in the session, Rana eventually got the wicket of Starc as he finished with 3/48 in his maiden Test innings.
