Akron Police are probing a fatal shooting in Patterson Park that left a 21-year-old dead near basketball courts.

Akron Police say more than a dozen shell casings were recovered in Patterson Park after Sunday's fatal shooting.

Mike Miller of the Akron Police Department said that the police department received several calls around 3 p.m. for multiple gunshots heard around the 600 block of Lucille Avenue. Responding officers found the man.
