An Ohio community gathered in the freezing cold on Wednesday evening to remember and celebrate the life of an 8-year-old Akron boy who accidentally took his own life on Monday. D'Angelo Alcorn was remembered as "full of life" and someone "who always had a smile on his face" by attendees.

Akron police believe this was an 'unintentional shooting' and noted that a handgun was recovered at the scene.
