Hurricanes look to stay perfect on the season when they battle the Louisville Cardinals in an ACC matchup on Friday night. Louisville is coming off a 30-27 overtime loss to Virginia on Oct. 4, while Miami defeated Florida State 28-22 that same night.

Carson Beck's Heisman Trophy odds took a major hit Friday night after No. 2 Miami lost 24-21 to the unranked Louisville Cardinals.

As a reminder, in PFF's grading scale, 60.0 is the baseline for an "average" grade. 70.0-79.9 is considered above average, 80.0-89.9 is good, whereas 90.0 and higher is elite. On the opposite end of the spectrum, 59.9-50.0 is below average, 49.9-40.0 is considered poor, whereas 39.9 and below is very poor.

Again, as bad as things were, Miami was 31 yards and 36 seconds away from either scoring the winning points or kicking a game-tying field goal to force overtime. Instead, Beck threw his fourth interception of the night and Miami fell to 5-1.

The senior signal-caller completed 74.1% of his passes and threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns in Miami's third game of the season against instate competition. Beck and the Hurricanes are averaging 428 yards of Total Offense each week while maintaining possession for six minutes more per game than their opponents.
