A woman was taken to a hospital Sunday night after she was stung by a scorpion at Boston Logan International Airport.

A woman was brought to a hospital Sunday after she was stung by a scorpion at Boston Logan Airport, Massachusetts State Police said.

“At approximately 7:30 p.m., a 40-year-old female was stung by a scorpion while retrieving luggage in the baggage claim area of customs,” police said in a statement. “The female party was transported to an area hospital for treatment.”
