The White Sox have placed second baseman Lenyn Sosa on the 10-day injured list because of a strained right hip flexor and recalled first baseman Tim Elko from Triple-A Charlotte.

The Chicago White Sox on Wednesday placed Lenyn Sosa on the 10-day IL with a right hip flexor strain and recalled Tim Elko from Triple-A Charlotte.

Thank God it’s nothing serious,” Sosa said. “I think a week, week and a half, I’m going to be able to come back.”
