President Trump's speech to the Israeli Knesset was interrupted by two left-wing members who were removed by security.
President Trump’s address was steeped in religion, an overarching message about Israel’s history, faith, and divine purpose. He acknowledged that he could not have done it alone, giving credit first to God and then to the people who, he said, worked alongside him.
Attending Trump's Knesset speech was his daughter Ivanka Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, the latter having been involved in negotiations, as well as White House special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
Throughout the day, the Knesset will continue to take part in official ceremonies, including a memorial for the fallen of the Iron Swords War and the October 7th massacre at Mount Herzl at 11:00 a.m., and a state ceremony for the murdered civilians at 2:00 p.m.
