Courtney Burgess, the man behind a controversial tell-all book allegedly based on Kim Porter‘s private diary, has fired back at Diddy and Porter’s sons, Christian Combs and Quincy Brown, in a legal battle.

In 2003, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kim Porter reunited after several years apart. They had three children together over the course of their relationship, and Combs referred to her as his soulmate. Still, he said he didn’t feel ready to marry her, even three years into their reunion. He shared why he was unwilling to take that step.

Quincy Brown and Christian Combs are making it clear that they are fiercely protective of their mother, Kim Porter’s legacy.

Diddy’s sons have officially issued a cease and desist for the man responsible for a controversial Kim Porter book. TMZ reports that Christian Combs and Quincy Brown sent the legal order to a man named Courtney Burgess and a woman named Ariel Mitchell, who appears to be his attorney, for Burgess’ book, Kim Porter Tell It All.
