The counting of votes has concluded for the Jharkhand assembly polls. The elections were held in two phases on November 13 and 20 for all 81 assembly seats. JMM-led alliance returned to power after registering win on 56 seats despite an all-out blitz by the BJP-led NDA which managed only 24 seats in the 81-member assembly.

The 2024 Jharkhand election results show JMM leading with 34 seats, while BJP trails with 21. A high voter turnout of 67.74% was recorded.

As of 4:00 p.m., the JMM-led alliance seems set to win the elections in the State. Within INDIA, the JMM leads in 34 seats, Congress in 17, RJD in four and CPI (ML) in two. Within the NDA alliance, BJP leads in 22, while LJP and JD (U) in one each. Earlier, BJP ally AJSUP led in one seat, but that lead did not last.
