The list of players for IPL mega auction 2025 ha snow grown to 577 as three new players including England pacer Jofra Archer, USA fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar, and Mumbai wicket-keeper Hardik Tamore were added to the full list of players for the auction.

All the 10 franchisees are set to spend a total of Rs 641.5 crore during the IPL 2025 Mega auction which is scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah.

In the lead up to the IPL auction, the franchises were asked to retain maximum six players while releasing the remaining ones that they assembled for the previous season. There are 204 vacancies and 70 of them are available for overseas players.

The IPL 2025 auction is all set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25 as the 10 teams look to fill the remaining slots in their squads ahead of the new season. The changed rules before the mega auction allowed teams to retain as many as 6 players or go with 5 players and use the right to match (RTM) on the one they would like to bring back from the auction.
