The Emmy nominee appeared six times on Broadway and starred alongside Stacy Keach in a pair of early 1970s films.

Harris Yulin, a prolific Emmy-nominated actor whose career spanned more than five decades across film, television and stage, died Tuesday of cardiac arrest in New York City. He was 88.

In “Ghostbusters II” (1989), Yulin played Stephen Wexler, a fiery judge who, after reaming out the Ghostbusters and ruling that they be sent to Rikers Island, faces a ghostly attack from the spirits of the Scoleri brothers, criminals he sent to the electric chair.
