You’re going to have to head to movie theaters to watch the Avatar: Fire and Ash trailer. Is this the beginning of a new trend?

In a post on the official “Avatar” X account, it was revealed that the first trailer for James Cameron’s “Avatar” threequel will screen exclusively in theaters before showings of Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.”

It is also the movie that will feature the first trailer for one of the most anticipated movies of the holiday season, Avatar: Fire and Ash. To preserve the big-screen majesty of the trailer, it won't be released online beforehand and will instead play exclusively before screenings of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
