HOUSTON - After being sacked in the first quarter, Florida A&M starting quarterback Daniel Richardson was injured by a Prairie View A&M defensive lineman. Backup signal-caller Junior Muratovic replaced Richardson in the lineup.

The ESPN Plus broadcast announced that Richardson has a concussion. Junior Muratovic has stepped in at quarterback for the Rattlers. At the time of the injury, Richardson completed 8 of 13 passes for 58 yards.

Florida A&M’s starting quarterback Daniel Richardson suffered an injury that left him out for the game in the team’s 31-12 loss to Prairie View A&M in a SWAC Championship rematch. Richardson was concussed after being sacked by Prarie View A&M defensive end Davier Farrow and remained out for the duration of the game.
