DeWanna Bonner, one of the WNBA’s most accomplished and respected veterans, has officially been waived by the Indiana Fever after missing five consecutive games.

The move also comes with some added motivation for DeWanna Bonner as this puts her back on the court with longtime partner, Alyssa Thomas.

Bonner's departure from Indiana and Phoenix being one of her two desired destinations also points to a potential reunion with her former Connecticut teammate, and fianceé, Alyssa Thomas.
