Record-tying temperatures weren't enough to keep the crowds away on Monday as thousands gathered for the 67th Ford Fireworks show on the Detroit riverfront.

Just before the sky lit up for the 2025 Detroit Fireworks, people were scrambling to get away from a commotion that occurred at Larned and Randolph Streets just blocks away from Hart Plaza, sources tell FOX 2. Officials say one person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
