Shares of Wolfspeed plunged following a report that interim Executive Chairman Thomas Werner said the 2022 Chips Act is expected to evolve under the Trump administration. The stock was down 48% to $2.79 on Friday, which would be the largest percent decrease on record and the lowest close since 1998. Shares have fallen 91% over the past 12 months.
