Former Husker Brice Matthews is set to become the 42nd Nebraska baseball player to reach the Major Leagues after his contract was selected by the Houston Astros on Friday morning.

The time leading up to his Astros debut was "a whirlwind," for Brice Matthews, who graduated from Atascocita High School.
