Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced the approval of significant state tax incentives

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority greenlit a 2.59% refundable Job Creation Tax Credit on Monday for Anduril Industries, with terms that begin in 2026 and end in 2055.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority Monday approved a 30-year, 2.594% Job Creation Tax Credit for Anduril Industries Inc., which plans to build a 500-acre manufacturing complex in northern Pickaway County that could grow to 5 million square feet over time. The estimated value of the tax credit over its term and if all goals are met is $452.2 million.

Anduril, a defense and aerospace contractor, has selected a site in Columbus for Arsenal-1, the company’s first hyperscale weapons manufacturing facility. The Southern California-based firm plans to invest approximately $1 billion of its own capital into the development.

The defense contractor will build autonomous weapons systems at the Columbus-area plant when it opens next year.
