Alcon Entertainment’s Canyon, starring Oscar nominee Don Cheadle. The feature, which has Colin Tilley attached to direct with a screenplay by John Wick architect Derek Kolstad, takes place over the course of one scorching night.

Don Cheadle will reportedly return to the big screen as John Wick creator Derek Kolstad is in talks of writing the screenplay for the upcoming action thriller film Canyon.

Don Cheadle has been tapped to star in a new movie called Canyon. Cheadle was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his performance in 2004’s Hotel Rwanda. He’s also known for playing James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine in the MCU and recently played a character named Sean Charles in Willaim Goldenberg’s Unstoppable,

Canyon’ will be written by ‘John Wick’ scribe Derek Kolstad, while Cheadle and Karyn Smith-Forge produce under their This Radicle Act banner alongside Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, John Davis and Jeremy Stein.
