Microsoft has added several new Intel desktop and laptop processors to the list of Windows 11-supported CPU models. This is the first such update for the recently released version 23H2.
If your AMD CPU is on the list for 24H2, the SKU should work on the previous Windows 11 versions as well. Over on the Intel side though, things have gotten trickier.

Both new Intel and AMD processors are now compatible with Windows 11. This update, known as Moment 3 for Windows 11 22H2, has benefited Microsoft, but there are some important things to note.
The company assures that existing Windows 11 users with older Intel processors will continue to receive support and updates for version 24H2.
However, in a new list published on July 25, Microsoft removed support for several Intel CPUs from the official Windows 11 22H2 support that were previously eligible for the update.
That being said, if you were set on an Intel processor, I have a ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 LGA 1700 DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard that I had a 12100 in for a while and upgraded it to a 14400.
