Last weekend’s Battle of the Badges hockey game between the Warren and Chesterfield Township police departments raised more than $22,000 for injured Warren officer Nick Kott.

Warren police found the vehicle heading south on Mound north of 13 Mile and arrested the driver. They found a BB/pellet pistol as well as a fake copied FBI badge and credentials inside his car.

After 61 years, this cop was set to retire. But his wife died. He said, "I have to keep busy." So he still wears a chief's badge and just got elected.
